The company
Regulation
KBC is a large Belgian bank that has integrated the buying and selling of Bitcoin and Ether into its Bolero investment platform. Individuals can manage their crypto exposure from the same environment as their other investments, with market or limit orders and custody provided within the KBC ecosystem. 03How much it costs
No known holding fees
not disclosed
Blockchain network fees always excluded (identical for everyone, not set by the platform).
KBC/Bolero: 0,50 % per purchase or sale of BTC/ETH, with a minimum commission of 5 € per order. The 5 € is a minimum commission, not a minimum investment amount; for an order below 1 000 €, the effective percentage cost therefore exceeds 0,50 %. The 0,50 % is an order commission, not a bank transfer fee. BID/ASK prices come from external liquidity providers; no additional fixed spread is published.
04Security & custody
Custody provided by KBC for Bitcoin and Ether held via Bolero. The crypto-assets are integrated into the Bolero portfolio; outgoing transfers to an external wallet are possible under certain conditions set out in the custody policy. Incoming transfers from an external wallet are not accepted.
05What to know before you start
Compensation transparency: affiliate partnership with KBC: À l'étude. A partnership has no influence on ranking or the default sort order (see Methodology).
