Two models coexist. The Blockchain.com Trading Account is custodial: Blockchain.com holds the assets for the client. The DeFi Wallet is non-custodial/self-custody and legally separate from the MiCA CASP service. For the EEA, the regulated account/custody/exchange services are provided by Blue Cube (Malta) Limited.

The DeFi Wallet also gives access to perpetual futures via Hyperliquid, but Blockchain.com states that it is only the technology interface: it does not operate the service, does not execute the transactions and is not the counterparty.
