04Security & custody

Bitpanda Asset Management GmbH is itself a MiCAR CASP in Germany. The group's custody documentation describes custody with segregation of client assets, hot/cold wallets, multi-signature mechanisms and checks/audits; no current verified official source allows Bitpanda Custody/Trustology to be presented as BAM's sole custodian.

Bitpanda's German legal entity for the German market, MiCAR-licensed by BaFin (BaFin-ID 10159692). The retail offer remains Bitpanda's: 650+ cryptos, buy/sell, wallet, staking/Earn, savings plans, Visa card and withdrawals to an external wallet. Bitpanda Business is also available for companies/professionals. Separate from Bitpanda GmbH (Austria), which serves other European markets under its own MiCAR licence.
